Easter: The Garden of Gethsemane
Jesus struggled with the best way to be faithful to God. Jesus received strength from trusting God. It's not always easy to be faithful to God. We, too, can be strengthened when we trust God.

By the end of this unit children will have: 1) heard and explored the story of Jesus praying at the garden; 2) offered their own prayers to God; 3) depicted in various ways their understanding of Jesus' act of prayer; 4) explored a variety of tools to help them pray; 5) focused through various means on the power and importance of prayer; 6) created ways to remind themselves of the story of Jesus praying in the garden.
